Fab’s been getting criticism. I think he‘s been one of the main casualties of the system this season, with having to adapt and struggle to cover for the holes frequently made by everyone who’d usually be on his right side just being elsewhere. Though we are also guilty of overplaying him and I think that affected his form last season too.

I wouldn't be adverse to that at all, once there are two lads there to cover and shore things up. At least we know with Thiago that he can play ball as well as do the dirty stuff, so it's not like it is 2 DM's sitting.

be interesting to see how the story develops this week - sky saying it's been referred to the prem league. I dont anticipate it will be resolved prior to the weekend, so wonder if club will pull him from selection

Nah, not unless he’s actually accused of something.

Can't see Hendo doing something wrong though, he maybe not be my favorite player, but he does seem a rather solid person.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yep, it all seems very unlikely.

would be the last person I'd think of - seems a really solid bloke

He does seem to be the inclusivity champion.

There is that quote "He who screams loudest has the most to hide"

But I just dont see that with Hendo... He seems to genuinely care about people. Its why he (deservedly) got the captaincy.

Perhaps he asked what it is like to play alongside a rapist?

Any further news on what he is supposed to have said?

                        Formal investigation now opened.

The rumour, and it is just a rumour of course, is that Henderson made a comment to Partey relating to exactly that and then when Gabriel got involved Henderson shouted something like "But he is, he is." back at Gabriel.

I hope that's it. Bring it back to the forefront. Terrible how much it has been swept under the carpet. What was it, 9? 11? days later and that law would have been in place allowing UK police to investigate the complaint

That would be an interesting one for the FA…

Calling the guy accused of rape a rapist… I doubt we’ll hear much more about this of that is the case.

Might also explain why Arteta was so quick to fall back on the what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch line.

I imagine if he thought one of his players had been racially abused he would not have been so calm and so keen to dismiss what was said.

My guess is if that is the case there will be a low key press release by the FA at some point saying the matter has been discussed and settled behind closed doors by all involved.
