I forget precisely what the law is but it allows for those who are 'ordinarily resident' in the UK to be investigated and tried in the UK for something that would be an offence in the UK even if it takes place outside the UK. The incident between Partey and his, presumably now ex, partner occurred less than 2 weeks before the law came in to force.Football without Origi is nothingComment
