+1. Mixed with a bit of self-belief and tenacity.

I'm afraid is the right answer. Well at least FSG think so.

I'd love to know who is behind the curtains on this advice.

What do you think of the potential signing of Sigurdsson??
I think he is on par with Henderson.

          That is worrying.

Mate, if Buck starts training on zonal positioning, my 16 month old dog would do better than they did last year. Adam as Lecter suggests has an engine in him. More so than I thought at the beginning of last season when he got overun in the centre against Norwich at Anfield. Like it or not, he did put in some performances after that. Downing has created more chances than any other LFC player, regardless of assists or goals scored. And Henderson does have some talent. Just not out wide (which incidently I believe came from SGs suggestion on how it improved his game. Conjecture of course).

I keep coming back to having to be objective on looking at what strengths and weaknesses each individual can bring to the team. Downing at left back does in fact have some merit if you think about having to keep him in the squad.

What we lack is an effective front 3 or 4, that needs pace and guile coupled with good tactics. Sterling could be one. But I think we need another couple new faces in there.

No I don't think 4th is a shoe in, no matter how much monopoly fantasy money we would like to imagine being thrown at the team. But what I want to see more than anything else, is some ****ing intelligence on how we set up and play against the 38 games we have in the season to keep us competitive.

At the moment, we're too obvious and easily countered.

If you think Rodgers is going to make us Barca next year. No way.

Keep ball is boring to watch.

I never thought that, I just don't think Henderson is very good.

But Henderson is perfect at playing that sort of style. Square / back passes waiting for the right through ball.

We as fans will have to get an education in this as much as the players.

Rodgers will like him a lot because he keeps things moving and he doesnt feel under.pressure to play killer passes everytime. He will keep recycling that ball until the.cows come home.

He scores far more goals than Henderson

They are different IMO, Gylfi is attacking and arrives in the box, takes a very good set piece and has balls. I think he is a done deal, his tone against Liverpool in the press has changed so much, there is a reason for that.

Sigurdsson is more like Gerrard and Shelvey in style of play

Was it you who said sometime ago that he was a rabid Manc and had been very uncomplimentary about LFC in the past?

Yes, that's me. His father said recently, something along the lines that Gylfi would consider a deal from Liverpool, that's he is professional and Liverpool was a great club. Then the quotes from Gylfi about Liverpool recently makes me think that the deal is done or is being worked on.
