Think Matty was big supporter of Lucas mate. Nobody is saying he won't be a good player in the future, just that he had a poor season and from what i can gather i don't think anyone will argue with that. Wasn' this fault he was played too much this season, just the same as it wasn't his fault we spunked big bucks on him, but it happened.

I actually think Henderson will thrive under Rodgers. He likes technical central midfielders who have the stamina to play box to box. That pretty much describes Henderson in a nutshell. He frustrated the **** out of me last season, but I think he'll come good.

Back in the day, Matt was very supportive of Lucas, and Liverpool as a whole. He's a good poster (although, on times, he's a right miserable, condescending ******* )

Lucas was piss poor in his first season, Weak in the challenge and often fgave the ball away cheaply.....and if you don't agree with that remember Lucas was always playing in his preferred position and was also playing alongside Mascherano, Alonso or Gerrard. Lucas was always the weak link in the best midfield in the world (tm)

Henderson has been shifted all over this season and while I wouldnt call it a success the quality of player he has been playing with the likes of Spearing and Adam and Downing hasnt helped, He also didnt have Fernando Torres to latch onto his balls either.

I find that hard to believe, the amount of ground he covered when playing with Adam was superhuman; he even made Adam look good before his unfortunate injury.
