How would that help in the middle of the game ? It wouldn't, it would cause issues on the pitch. Deal with any problems after the game in the dressing room not on the pitch esp with someone like Mario

One of the reasons Mario has tantrums on the pitch is because he has been allowed to in the past, no reason allow it to continue.

If he can't follow team orders, haul his ass off the pitch.

He also had Stevie sat up in the TV studio casting his eye over proceedings as current captain. Im not saying that Jordan is the perfect captain, or even the right captain. But I'm not sure that the 'Mario Incident' is at all relevant. People change, learn, improve, get worse, etc. and Im sure Henderson learnt a fair bit from that incident.

If we are going to remember stuff then lets remember JH for this bit of rabble rousing potential captainship.

The sole purpose of a Captain should be to pick heads or tails. Anymore than that is a glorified form of babysitting

I don't think Henderson should have ever been given the captaincy but the Balotelli thing was awkward. I'd imagine words were said behind closed doors but yeah it did make him look a bit weak. Hendo's a good guy but just not captain material IMO, as for Balotelli .... he's just a waster.
