Funny how not wearing the armband did not stop guys like Alonso, Hyypia, Carragher etc from being leaders on the pitch at the same time that Gerrard was on the pitch.


Funny how it currently does not stop guys like Can, and Sakho from being vocal.


Going back into his shell when Gerrard is on the pitch is not the greatest of signs tbh, and suggests that Henderson is always a strong personality away from going into hiding.

Yep and then he went into hiding and rolled over whenever a Stoke player came close to him.

He had loads of praise during our good run of results, but he went missing a hell of a lot during the last 8 or 9 games of the season and if he deserves kudos for when things are going well he deserves criticism when he looks to be hiding during a poor spell for the team.


Very easy for a player to look up for it when results are going the right way, but it is during the rough patches that the leaders stand out, and what he has shown makes me doubt his ability as a captain.
