Have you ever wondered that he does it because he's under instructions to keep the ball and play it safe?Originally posted by Tatterdemalion View PostHe didn't play badly, I'm not sure he played well. He still calls for the ball, gets it and then just passes it back. Perhaps I've never noticed that in another player before, but I don't recall ever seeing it before. He does it regularly. Are we winning?

Not sure you've taken on board what I've said there Fredo. Not doubting that that is his role, but it's not like he is taking the ball from a player in a dangerous position then passing it to some-one in a safer position - he is taking the ball from a player then passing it back to the same player in the same position with the same opposition around him. I noticed him do it before the final whistle, but he does it regularly, it's not a one-off.Originally posted by Fredo View PostHave you ever wondered that he does it because he's under instructions to keep the ball and play it safe?Really?

less bad today, but to add some balance to the brewing hendo wankfest it must be remembered bournemouth were hardly challenging anywhere on the pitch today.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Jepp, make yourself available and give it back to the player again, this opens up space for others. When he gets forward into the opposition box area the shackles are off and he doesn't play to ordersOriginally posted by Fredo View PostHave you ever wondered that he does it because he's under instructions to keep the ball and play it safe?

I thought he played well today
Cant believe he is under any instruction to play it backwards
For me both him and Wijnaldum suffer from not having the bottle to take responsibility and take it on themselves so would rather pass sideways or backwards and duck the responsibility. Having the guts to make a forward ball and take a risk is often the difference between being a good player and a top playerBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I think Gini is hugely guilty of this. So often in games, he looks up and sees the switch to Gomez is massively on, then turns and plays it to Klavan, Lovren and finally to Gomez. It slows our play down so much and we lose momentum so quickly.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI thought he played well today

Thats an odd way to put us down SB. If we made them look terrible it's because we were scintillating. Maybe you mean they were so bad they made us look goodOriginally posted by SB View PostHe did pretty well today I thought Norbs. I’d give him a 7/10 actually. They were made to look terrible by us though weren’t they.
