What is he doing jogging to the edge of his own penalty area to pick up the ball from the CB without an Everton player within 40 yards? Just let the CB bring it out and take up a position further forward to give them an extra man to play out through ffs. And it's not as if he's spraying Gerrard passes around when he does get it.

He's under heavy rotation which i presume is to give him a chance and we all know how loyal he is. But the data boys will be pointing out how ineffective he's become so i reckon we'll soon be seeing him rested more and more often, especially when Lallana comes back, if that happens anytime soon.

Hope so. He passes a lot just to little effect. Felt a bit sorry for him today as there were a number of occasions when he called for the ball and was just ignored. Bit like when I used to play.

He's a decent player when on his A game. His confidence is shot and he looks like the player that first arrived and struggled with the expectation. Take the captaincy off him and just let him earn his place. I've no gripe with the lad, he tries, but injuries have ****ed him up a bit.

He seems to be a player who is dropping off in his career in general, never really discovered his form since his foot injury. Finds space well but does not seem to run the game with the same directness Emre can ...can. I have been a fan over the years, but he needs to up his game a lot if he is to stick around, especially with Naby on route.

I mean I think we were obviously extremely unlucky not to walk away with all 3 points and for us to be saying we totally controlled that game from start to finish ... unfortunately, the Referee had other ideas
