As one of his most vocal critics I have to say he played well tonight.
As Kemm says he actually looked to play the ball forward when possible.

Fair play to him, there are times I question his ability but I’d never question his character. Seems to be a top guy.

It must be down to the higher echelons at the club, Klopp included, but our lads seem really grounded and lovely people. I hope other clubs are doing the same, it's as far detached from 600k watched as you can get

It's just social media innit. This stuff has always gone on behind the scenes.

          And so it should too.
          Oh I don't know.

That's a ****ing boss gesture and it's great to see the Captain do something like this.

Lallana will have a few weeks off to recover.

It could be a recurrence of 'ruffled ego' as jordan was putting in much more effort.

A bit of detail on the above clip.

Jordan Henderson showed his class off the pitch on Christmas Day as he treated underprivileged children to a special party at Anfield.

The Liverpool captain was joined by Adam Lallana in holding a festive-themed celebration for youngsters in a lounge in the Sir Kenny Dalglish stand.

Besides paying for the hire of the room and supplying food and refreshments, the midfielder also treated the kids to presents and took the time to sign autographs.

Their involvement drew the praise of Liverpool employee Ellie Phillips, who took to Facebook to ensure their selflessness didn’t go unnoticed.

She wrote: “So today I worked a Christmas party organised by Henderson which he paid the lounge hire (over £2000 in the KD stand) invited 3 lots of people and communities with underprivileged or disabled kids, filling a room each time.”

“He paid for all of the food, entertainment and brought Lallana along with him to meet everyone and sign their programmes/take photos.”

“Then to top it all off he had bought each of the kids a decent present for Christmas (including iPads for older kids). They’re both honestly the most humble, down to earth, generous people & made a lot of kids’ Christmas’ today. Our captain is boss.”

It really is testament to the humility that runs throughout this Liverpool side, following on from a string of charitable moments from Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Trent Alexander-Arnold meanwhile spent the day meeting with deprived families, giving more children a Christmas to remember in the process.

The Premier League leaders don’t just boast a group of supremely talented athletes, but also a squad of exceptional human beings.
