Can you imagine Colin Pascoe and his shorts at any other top club.

I don't really want him to go but:

      1) I think he's going to get the bullet, a la Kenny in his last season.
      2) Have we actually won one of those season defining games under his reign?

After watching that there's no way I can defend keeping him on next season. Words are failing me now to describe it. But cheer's Brendan but off you go.

Not as big a factor as it used to be given the changes in some of the tax bands across Europe in the past few years.

Of where the main leagues in Europe are based, Spain is 3% less than England for high earners, but Germany, France, Italy, Holland, and Portugal are all equal to or higher than England when it comes to tax rates for footballer sized wages afaik.

Thought he was the real deal last year. But this season with its ups and downs has put doubts in my mind.

Rodgers just said "our attitude was fantastic". I'm sorry but our attitude was stinking. No passion or fight. Was gutless

Suarez played a huge part in that, whether Rodgers needs top players is another matter but it's a poor season

Deluded just like Houllier was. Times to get rid and get an experienced manager in.

Pointless sacking the manager, which they should, without changing their attitudes to how we should conduct our transfer business and probably changing those in charge of it.

Is this a Duncan Jenkins saying?

Rodgers is a good manager who has made mistakes. But he has helped transform the team/club into an attractive, competitive side whilst working within the FSG restrictions on player wages. We're all disappointed with this season but he needs more time.
                          Another MASSIVE game

Remember when we had a good spell and Rodgers couldn't wait to tell everybody how great he was for turning it all around and deliberately coaching us to be better in the second half of seasons. Bit premature there Brendan.

Wouldn't be sad to see him go, but as I've said elsewhere until we buy established quality & don't keep selling our best players, we'll never get back in the top 4 regularly.
                                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
