I really don't think they'll drop more points tonight.

Funny how you acted the cunt when I suggested we'd finish 5th, going in to some sarcy rant about 'mid table'Originally posted by Chris View PostWe are ****ing awesome but yeah, there is a horrible feeling at the back of my mind we just left ourselves with too much to do after the ****ty start. We've got 2.15 points per game from our last 13, title challenging form and yet we cant get above ****ing 7th. And we've got no luxury of being able to have a couple of crap games, we are ****ed if we have a bad spell now.
Still, no one stops us in the Europa League in this form.

Like Chris said, there's too little room for error....if any room whatsoever. Feels very unlikely. I always felt Rodgers would get the boot if we failed to make the top 4, but context is important and if this revival continues and we miss out by a fag paper he should be kept on, no question. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

What nags me in the Jagielka goal, those extra couple of points..Originally posted by Shaggy View PostLike Chris said, there's too little room for error....if any room whatsoever. Once the Europa League kicks back in it could get a whole lot more difficult too.Vive la France

I agree, and I wanted him out earlier.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

We're playing too well to think about sacking him. We have some really exciting talent getting up to speed or about to join (Origi for example), a great formation, Sturridge, Gerrard will have 'retired' and hopefully we can get rid of some players that haven't made the grade.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostLike Chris said, there's too little room for error....if any room whatsoever. Judging by this year's performances, I think we can genuinely aim for the league title next season. Was muß, das muß.

The home draws with Hull, Leicester, Everton and Sunderland all bother me. And the home loss to a Villa side who immediately then went about 6 games without scoring a ****ing goal. I know every team has similar sob stories, and we do this every year. But **** me.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostWhat nags me in the Jagielka goal, those extra couple of points..

****ing hell, you've spent the last 8 months chasing me around the forum because I wrote "We'll do well to finish in the top 10. We are an awful side" in the Suarez misery thread which wasn't aimed at anyone or even quoting anyone!!Originally posted by Norbs View PostFunny how you acted the cunt when I suggested we'd finish 5th, going in to some sarcy rant about 'mid table'
Christ, and I thought I took this place too seriously!

I think the reason the Jagielka goal nags me is because its memorable, I've put the other games to the back of my mind but that was painful!Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThe home draws with Hull, Leicester, Everton and Sunderland all bother me. Like you say every team has these moments, hopefully we minimise them for the rest of the season and others continue. Burnley tonight would be a great start.Vive la France

Leicester's first goal in the 2-2 draw at Anfield was also memorable. Probably the best one touch team goal I've seen this seasonOriginally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostI think the reason the Jagielka goal nags me is because its memorable, I've put the other games to the back of my mind but that was painful!

One good thing about our recruitment is that even if we miss out on the CL, it will not be a huge disaster as we have a good crop of young first team players with lot of latent talent.
I believe this team has the potential to take the next step through the organic growth of Sturridge, Sterling, Can, Coutinho, Ibe, Sakho, Markovic, Henderson, and others. Of course the process will obviously be accelerated if we can add a leader like Suarez in the mix.

Not touching them tonight!
