Mignolet - Regained his confidence and is better than ever.
Can - Is just growing and growing, could make his mark in midfield if let loose.
Skrtel and Sakho - Really coming along.
Henderson - Showing leadership and maturlity.
Sterling - Is adding goals to his game.
Coutinho - Is showing top form.
Markovic - Can play in a number of positions and is a good mix of dependable and exciting.
Ibe - Very exciting, unpredictable and like a new player.
    Sturridge - Is back.
Lallana - Showed how good he is before getting injured.
    Moreno - Keeps getting better.
Lucas - A rock, although suffers from soft thighs.
Balotelli - If he turns his form around he'll be like a new player.
Allen - Not good at anything but can be the cog when others are missing.
Johnson - Can replace anyone across the backline.
Gerrard - Well, I'll think of something later.

Brendan is doing better and the team will as well, we look good going forward will only get better. A good result against Southampton and City and we're back in the mix big time.
    Welcome back.

Hopefully replacing Gerrard with Nainggolan or Pjanic but that'd be too well planned so doubt it's that!

We were linked to Lazio's Ogenyi Onazi a lot in the past.

I do agree there are plenty of positives and good improvement, and I've no doubt we will fight for fourth....I just feel we lack something.

A top quality midfielder would do the trick for me. I'd like to see Lovren given a go at CB as well to see if he can be saved.
              * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I hope not Pjanic because I don't think we need him (Sterling, Lallana, Coutinho, Markovic) but Nainggolan is a DM which we need for whenever Lucas is out injured.

Exactly Again, just seems odd that we are after another attacking midfield player when it looks like we need a striker and DM.

We'll need Pjanic after we sell Sterling to Real Madrid

Yeah someone at work said one of the papers reckoned Pjanic this morning.

                            It's here:

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers paid a whistle-stop visit to Rome ahead of his side’s FA Cup tie at Selhurst Park this weekend.

Rodgers was snapped outside the Vatican, the central governing body of the Catholic Church, on Thursday by an eager Liverpool fan.

The Anfield boss did not attend a live game as neither Serie A giants Lazio or Roma played but Sportsmail understands he flew out to do some groundwork on trying to sign Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Rodgers departed Anfield with girlfriend Charlotte Hind immediately after the 3-2 victory over Tottenham on Tuesday to fly to the Eternal City, leaving assistant manager Colin Pascoe with media duties.

Bosnia and Herzegovina international Pjanic has become an integral part of Roma’s midfield since moving to Serie A from Lyon in 2011.

Rodgers is expected to be back for Liverpool’s FA Cup clash at Crystal Palace on Saturday evening, with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.

Indeed, he's just left his wife and whisked his new girlfriend off to romantic Rome for a Valentine's treat when he should have been working. And he's got away with it too.
                                Oh I don't know.
