I dunno, I think we're in with a great chance for 3rd or 4th atm. IMO both are still very much up for grabs.
You just need to look at the form table to see how well we're charging up, we just had a massive amount of ground to cover.
I reckon we're in for a nice tight finish, which will be excruciating.

It's beginning to feel like the tail end of 2013-14 doesn't it.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostI dunno, I think we're in with a great chance for 3rd or 4th atm. IMO both are still very much up for grabs.

We are ****ing awesome but yeah, there is a horrible feeling at the back of my mind we just left ourselves with too much to do after the ****ty start. We've got 2.15 points per game from our last 13, title challenging form and yet we cant get above ****ing 7th. And we've got no luxury of being able to have a couple of crap games, we are ****ed if we have a bad spell now.Originally posted by ronanm View PostStill think we'll fall short for 4th.
Still, no one stops us in the Europa League in this form.

If we finish 5th but win the Europa, does that relegate the 4th placed team down, or would we have 5 teams in Europe? (I know, it's been asked before, but I can't remember the answer).
Also, say Arsenal finsh 6th, but win the CL, we finish 5th and win the Europa...would that mean 6 teams in the CL next year?

That means the fate that befell Tottenham Hotspur in 2011-12, when they missed out on Europe despite finishing fourth because Chelsea won the Champions League and finished sixth, would not happen again. Instead, England would now have five representatives.
The new rules are expected to be ratified by the Uefa Congress in London on Friday and will apply from 2014-15.
In the unlikely scenario that teams from the same country win the Champions League and the Europa League, also expected to confer Champions League qualification from 2015, yet finish outside the top four then a total of five clubs will be permitted – the top three plus both European champions.

I honestly think it'll come down to the games against the other top 4 rivals. We have to beat at least two of Arsenal, Man U and Southampton.Originally posted by Chris View PostWe are ****ing awesome but yeah, there is a horrible feeling at the back of my mind we just left ourselves with too much to do after the ****ty start. Yup. And start hammering a few teams as our our goal difference compared to Southampton, Manchester United and Arsenal is poor.Originally posted by Trippendicular View PostI honestly think it'll come down to the games against the other top 4 rivals. If Stoke do a job on City tonight (completely possible) We're 7 points off 2nd!
Makes the ****e start to the season feel worse but cause for optimism now, we have Southampton and City coming up and although they're scary looking fixtures both games could mean clawing back points.Vive la France

No team is going to want to face Sterling Sturridge and Ibe with Coutinho pulling the strings. Specially if Aguero stays asleep for a lot longer. One tit for another.

Yaya coming back will lift them, but if they fail again tonight they're going to be very low and pressure will be mounting on the manager.Originally posted by BigChief View Post

Last 6 games, yes they've had tough fixtures but they've only picked up 7 points, drawing with both Burnley & Hull at home.Vive la France
