Totally agree, man city/arsenal and scum as you're first 3 home games while trying to change the clubs style of play...no easy task for any manager.

We're close you know. I think it's going to click into place and we'll all look back on his first few games and think "****, that was hard wasn't it?"

Next weekend is so important, if we lose bags of pressure on Rodgers.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

Close I'm not sure as it's not as simple as this. Our style of play is coming on nicely and we're improving but doing it week in week out is a fantastic challenge. Plus you don't get any points for passing teams off the park. It must be absolutely draining to players losing a game like this one and it can really suck out the confidence out of you if you're not careful.
          Are we winning?

It can also serve to drive the players on and show a never dying spirit within the group, bring them closer together thinking everyone is against us. That is how they should feel after the bloody awful ref decisions today.

hopefully he will drive the lads to ensure we take maximum points from the next few games or we will all start flapping...

FSG need to invest big time in january as if it stays like this our best players will be picked off by other clubs.

Big clubs need to have a winning mentality including winning ugly. Utd were **** today and whatever we say about the ref they took all three points.

Thats what rodgers needs to instill into himself and the players. no matter what he thinks this club is about winning. the results just arent good enough.

Thats what he has to improve.

Why do people keep blaming fsg. Rodgers was given a budget and he spent it including 11m on a striker. If that lad isnt good enough to contribute goals immediately thats not fsgs fault.

Again lets see what the table says after ten games. because this was always going to be a tough start.
