The games against Toronto, Spurs etc were training matches. Crazy to place any store whatsoever by those kickabouts.

Its just a general question. So it is 14 matches then of which 11 are classed as competitive.

My only worry is that he may lose the dressing room. And if that happens it's game over.

I think there is more chance of us bringing Carroll back in January than punting on another striker too.

Yep i can see us recalling Carrol in jan rather than buying a quality striker. If that happens it will show the ambition of the owners.

Luckily weve got a very young squad that will buy into his philosophies. but I also think gibbos got a point about the gerrards and reinas of this world.

Why would he lose the changing room, I think everyone is happy in the way we are playing, results aren't going our way at the moment but he said at the start we might have to take some punishment at the start or words similar to that and I'm sure people on here were saying it might take a while especially considering the start, either people have forgot this or just said it not believing it, im happy with the style were playing already although it's stil early doors into Rodgers term here
                        RIP IRWT post/rant, best ever

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Llorente, Huntelaar and Walcott will all be down to the last 6 months of their contracts in January, why on earth would we bring back Andy friggin Carroll when talent like that is available for bargain prices ??

No point bringing in a striker if he's not ready for our tiki taka style of football. And no point even thinking of a striker until we're effing playing tiki taka football properly.

NOW, we're starting to show signs of tiki taka football its clear as daylight that Carroll back at Liverpool will be pointless. FSG will have seen enough progress in Brendan's style of football by January to get him the man he wants (hopefully with results too soon). This is the right way to go about business - its almost common sense.
                              One tit for another.

Rodgers is doing everything i ever wanted from a manager. Except get results. Very frustrating but still right behind him. More than ever in fact.
