Also worth noting they did pretty well in the CL during their successful run.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostBayern were treading water, Klopp took advantage, but as soon as Bayern flexed their muscles they were right back at the top. Not blaming Klopp, you have your best players taken by your main rivals, eventually it tips the scales in their favour.
But as shown last season, his methods take time to set in and I read a good article stressing how difficult it is to carry off the Dortmund tactics. You need ultra switched on players. Lose a few components and it can all fall down.
I guess Rodgers could sympathise, he lost Suarez and others and his world caved in.
Essentially both Klopp and De Boer are good managers but have only shown their quality in one setting. We don't really know how their success would transfer or whether there is a 'buy in' period to their methods.
At present though we still have a manager."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I'm delighted there's nothing coming out actually, gives us a good chance to work in silence & get **** done without any fuss. That Firmino signing cam out of nowhere, lets hope we can do some more business like that. Get em in early & get a good full pre season out of the new signings.
Hopefully we have all the out goings done before pre season & we have none of this bull**** of playing players in pre season games that have zero chance of playing for LFC this season.
