Without wanting to sound like a smug cunt, I said when Rodgers was in the process of being appointed that last season's Swansea passed it around well enough in the first two thirds but a lot of it was passing for passing's sake and they often got nowhere.

That's what we're seeing now - barely any penetration in the final third.

And yes we are an absolute shambles off the ball - every time we lose it we're susceptible to the counter and the midfield especially is often a shapeless mess.

The difference is that Shaggy is commenting on how he sees things now. He's not someone who is going to keep hammering away at an agenda without consideration of the constraints we're under and the fact we're less than a dozen league games into Rodgers's tenture. Unlike some people.

I agree with the borini thing in that hes not ready to play regularly in the first team or probably not ready to contribute substantially to the first team.

If you think that the likes of rodallega and ba were all available for sub 7m then its a lot of money for an untested 21 year old especially since our goal scoring issues have been clear for at lst a season.

Does anyone have a complete breakdown of all the stats for the season. Total competitive games played how many won lost drawn goals scored conceded etc...

We must have played closed to 20 games under rodgers by now.

Borini clearly wasn't bought to be our second striker this season, that was supposed to be the striker brought in with Carroll's fee/wages.

Maybe, but they only scored three goals less than we did with £60m of strikeforce.

I think the only thing I said was £15 million seemed a lot of money for him
