never doubt that i want the best for my team, whoever is the manager...

    what you are forgetting is the most important three things;

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

like kenneth says, once he gets his players in thats the time to make judgements not before because its not fair on him.

Kenny bought carroll, downing, suarez, henderson, coates and enrique.
Hodgson bought konchesky, poulsen, jones and some other ****

Rodgers has really only bought in 2 significant signings in allen and borini so he needs time.

I hope it's not, because Rodgers needs time and investment. But when you've only won 2 out of 10 league games these sort of discussions will happen. It's no problem.

i agree. one thing managers always want is more time but at a place like liverpool its the one thing you almost can never have.

I would normally agree, but in this instance the stats clearly do no favours for Rodgers. There is a footballing philosophy and style of play taking shape and as has been said on numerous occasions the issue has been the inability of the existing group of players to make the most of the domination and chances we have had.

To question Rodgers' position as Manager at this embroyonic stage is unfair, it really is. If we were not playing well and genuinely looked out of sorts I would be the first to question him, however that is definitely not the case and right now and it is completely unfair to question him. Makes us just as bad as the tabloids IMO.

It's a football forum and fans will question managers. I would love him to come good as he is young and appears dynamic. Does he deserve until the end of the season to see if things are getting better of course he does. But we have to realise that this manager is not experienced at real top level ( which we just about are). It's at tough job at Liverpool and I just feel this guy hasn't got what it takes to make us great again. I hope to god that he proves me wrong as we will have a manager that will be with us for years. But say we end up 8th no trophies and he has spent a bit of dosh in January, what then give him another year and more money?

We look better attacking on the counter and breaking, plays into Suarez/Sterlings hands where as when we are stuck 30-40 yards out passing it around for a week whilst they hvae 10 men behind the goal we dont look like breaking through at all.

I think the idea of getting Suarez to drop deeper (ala Messi) is right, its just we do not quite have the players on the same wavelength as him, so we cannot do those little give and go's around the edge of the box and break through these defences.

This understanding will come good but it will still take some time. Bodes so well for the future that the likes of Sterling and Suso are playing so regularly with Luis.

If we finish 8th then he stays IMO.

The only way I can see him going is if we're relegation fodder.

                          What if we finish 9th?

I agree that the only way his job will be in danger is if we are in a relegation battle, and the quality of our football deteriorates.

That isn't an 'and' - regardless of how attractive the football is, if we're 15th or lower then he's doomed.

With our brand of football I can't see us finishing below QPR (Hughes), Reading, Southampton, Norwich (Hughton) and one of a number of other sh*t teams like Villa. So below 15th is not realistically where we're going to end up.

I don't think it is either - just saying that for all the pretty football in the world there is still a minimum acceptable level.
