Nothing bad to say about Brendan, he tried his best, he got us at times playing some of the best football I've seen us play.

In the end, i think a mixture of naivety, maybe a touch of arrogance and poor decisions just added up, it spirralled out of his control and he couldn't get it back.

It was getting to the stage where every decision he made or comment he said everyone disagreed with and when that happens u have to make changes.

Good luck to him. But for us I think it's for the best.

I must say this is the best example yet of the thread title [heading] initiative.

Ultimately just not good enough, and lost his way a while ago

There's been a lot of stuff written about him on here that leaves a bit of a bad taste though, undeserved IMO

Think he needs to drop down a level or two now, it seems like he's made the same mistakes throughout his career and should probably assess things at a lesser club
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Totally agree. The Sunderland job would be ideal for him.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

All the best to BR but he had run his course here.

Klopp or Ancelotti would be fantastic. Looks like it will be Klopp

Personally I don't think he will end up a great manager

LFC will be the pinnacle of his career

To echo everyone else. Thanks for 13/14 BR. It was one hell of a ride and I will never forget it, but to me it looked like Brendan was out of ideas and could not adapt this team further. He's young enough - and good enough at a level to have an ace career.

Now its time for FSG to **** or bust. If there's uncertainty over Klopp, then throw the wallet at Carlo. Don't mess about, get a big personality in who will change the team for the better.

Either way. We are LFC, we will rise again
