@Jay_78_ @KrisDowning he's lost the fans a while back, for me I don't see FSG acting anytime soon. Not ITK but I reckon he has the season

@petelad_lfc @krisdowning He hasn't got the season. It was always planned to review around Christmas time but they need to act sooner for me

@LFCMRUIsland Rodgers won't be getting sacked yet. And I've heard nothing on a sale of the club.

I thought they had a person outside the club who advised them on certain footballing matters, if its a dinosaur like Hodgson we'd be ****edOriginally posted by G View PostIan Ayre is. They were warned off Rafa, it can only have been him doing the warning as he was the only one left at the time. He convinced them not to sack Rodgers last Christmas and probably the summer too. Now apparently somebody is warning them off Klopp. Self preservation is the number one concern in Chapel St from a man who fancies himself as much as Rodgers.
Nah not Rafa, he's a fat ****. Big Sam is ya man.
They're probably scared of the club being united with the manager because he's the fall guy now, imagine the attention turning on them. We've been in managed decline haven't we?Vive la France

Good let's hope that's true so that the cost of losing him isn't a (big) factor in their decision.Originally posted by el matador View PostAlso rumoured to be a one year pay off if sacked not the £7m as previously mentioned because we didn't get champions league. Not sure about this one.
Given that with almost no exceptions Manager's always leave a club for another club or are sacked, I don't get why every single one of them doesn't have a rolling one year deal with a fixed amount in compensation if they're fired or a fixed amount to be paid in compensation if they're poached.
Then we wouldn't get into the realms of this (quoted) £7m for someone who has a bit of time left on a deal but is worth about 2 buttons and a pencil based on what he's actually achieved.

It doesn't matter what twitter accounts say or what FSG think they will do - when a stadium turns on a manager he is de-facto a goner. Rodgers position would be all but untenable, esp as the supporters views are surely going to be held to some degree by the players if say the Villa game is a defeat.

It's at the stage now where everything I think about just winds me up more and wants him gone....
We've all now gerrard was doing to the end, what 3 years ago, who why didn't we invest some of the money we've spent on getting in a top class midfielder. To play alongside and eventually replace gerrard. Hendos good, but that good, milners nowhere near, can a bit raw, Lucas hasn't quote got enough (goals/creativity and the legs for 90 mins) and Allen is ****e.
Especially when you look at the squad an the money spent on some players......take for example. Markovic, firminho, Lallana......about £70 odd mill spent and we can't find places for any of them in a starting XI, especially with coutinho already here.
Why not up just sign one of those and use the rest of the money sorting out a midfield which is all over the shopi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
