It's at the stage now where everything I think about just winds me up more and wants him gone....

We've all now gerrard was doing to the end, what 3 years ago, who why didn't we invest some of the money we've spent on getting in a top class midfielder. To play alongside and eventually replace gerrard. Hendos good, but that good, milners nowhere near, can a bit raw, Lucas hasn't quote got enough (goals/creativity and the legs for 90 mins) and Allen is ****e.

Especially when you look at the squad an the money spent on some players......take for example. Markovic, firminho, Lallana......about £70 odd mill spent and we can't find places for any of them in a starting XI, especially with coutinho already here.

Why not up just sign one of those and use the rest of the money sorting out a midfield which is all over the shop

One thing I think Rodgers is very media savvy

Hes not Roy who was generally prickly towards everybody and anybody

Americans love people who are PR and media savvy / or talk a good game (at least thats my experience of dealing with Americans)

I don't think Rodgers is going anywhere quickly. It has to be really bad before Fenway will step in mid season. We saw that with Hodgson.



They only took action when it became farcical and were not there yet with Brendan. Although I don't think were far away either.

This is the problem. By the time it's bad enough that they take action it will be too late to save this season. Another season gone before it's even started.

I also think someone is briefing the media against Klopp moving to Liverpool. It's almost unanimous amongst fans now for Rodgers to go and Klopp to replace him and all of a sudden the weekend media and today is full of negative news stories about Klopp and him going to Liverpool.

Whether they get rid of Liverpool now, Christmas or at the end of the season what's the point if it's not to bring in Klopp. I see no other clear options which means you are back to 'up and coming' Managers.

We'll end up with someone like Villa Boas next summer.

A bit of a stats abuse means you can do what you want to prove a point excercise here but assume Roy's last 12 games are the measure for the entire season. He took 22 from
36 or 1.64 a game. Over a whole season with that ratio he'd have 62 points so more than Rogers managed in 12/13 or 14/15 (61 in both).

Terry Francona (former Red Sox manager) won two World Series - their first titles in almost 100 years - and FSG turfed him after a poor end to the season in 2012. By all accounts, Francona is a very good manager and a winner. Yet, they canned him. Where does the patience/faith they have in Rodgers come from. Completely baffling.
