That's the case with all managers though Rafa in 08/09 had an on fire Gerrard and Torres you could aim the same thing at him in so much without them he'd not have got close.

Football is a team sport that needs the players and the coaching set up working together to get the best from what they've got.

They only played together something like 15 times in the whole season. Imagine if they'd played the whole season together

Dunno why but I decided to finally watch "Being Liverpool" tonight. I didn't even make it to the end of the first episode and I won't be revisiting it either. An horrific watch. Absolutely toe curlingly cringeworthy in so many ways. The Brent comparison is spot on and I reckon the thought of his (ex)wife's teeth will give me nightmares tonight. A calamitous decision to make it IMO.

It was a bad decision to make that programme, my impression of Rodgers was that he was a complete buffoon and that stuck for me.

Personally I don't think our squad is that bad. I'd put us below the traditional top 4, but not necessarily by that much.

Were missing an Aguero or Hazzard type, but otherwise its mainly form and mentality.

I think FSG have shown a lot of ambition since coming here, although it hasn't worked out except a trophy and another final under Kenny and the title run (which is decent looking at where we came from!!)

Actually doing stadium work, changing managers 3 times and spending a fair sum on players including the top 5 most expensive transfers in our history and 7 out of the top 10. I still don't quite get why so many make out FSG to be poor owners or unambitious for that matter!

Having faith in a manager longer than parts of the fan group doesn't really say unambitious put rather patience.
