If he's got an issue with them - which he obviously has - I'd rather he did it all behind closed doors. Why tell the world? He can still bollock them, tell them how he feels, drop them etc without saying all this to the press. I really don't want to get on his case but when Hodgson did this he got slaughtered.

On one hand it does seem a bit 'un-liverpool' to be so public, but on the other hand, **** em, they got dicked by ****ing Oldham and the back two were mullered by Sunday League player. Being public with such things certainly adds weight to any message he's trying to get across to the players and I guess he feels like it needs that extra weight. He's not singled anyone out like Roy did with Agger and Johnson really. The only person he really picks out as **** is their striker.

Yeah he was good but still ended up costing us the game, ironically. Think it's the reason Rodgers demoted him to the bench.

To be fair he says "our two big units at centre half"....mentions their striker and says "and he looks like Didier Drogba" - he doesn't need to name Skrtel or Coates.

I think most if not all of us agree with him - I'd just rather he did it privately.
