It's going to be such an interesting season. On a psychological scale, it would be really interesting to see that if a manager, who seems to have lost the dressing room, can turn things around and will this set a precedent for clubs not to be so quick on the trigger in sacking managers?
I think it will be a complete success or disaster. I've got some money on it being a success though...

I think the 'turn around' happens quite a lot. I suspect the problem is being able to spot what 'losing the dressing room' looks like without being an insider. Almost every two month Pardew looked to have lost the Newcastle dressing room before they cam back on a storming run for example. I'm also far from sold on the idea that losing the dressing room is really a thing.Originally posted by Maxiedge View Post

"Losing the dressing room" has never made sense to me. It's one of those clichés.Originally posted by dww View PostI think the 'turn around' happens quite a lot. Whereas everyone in every other walk of life constantly likes and respects their manager! It's an over dramatic term. Problem is nowadays we worry too much about how our players are feeling, back in the day they'd just e expected to grumble behind closed doors and get on with it, rather than moaning on Twitter, leaking stories to the press or getting their agent to stir up trouble.
