FFS Arn, would you like a new hobbyhorse?
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I totally agree. He needs to be supported to build the squad because if he isn't supported to build the squad then he won't build the squad and then FSG will not have let him build the squad and will have to sack him.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I think the most believable part is him mouthing off about it
Rest of it sounds like rubbish.

Likes the sound of his own voice does Brendan....God bless 'em.

I'm actually astonished he hasn't got around to writing an autobiography yet. I'd say he'll be a great man for them in years to come......no doubt reminiscing about the era of domestic and European dominance he led us to.

Bollocks this is, he clearly loves and respects and most of all understands the club.

I doubt that it is **** stirring. If you posted something like this and it would be bollocks then you would be laughed at forever.

I don't believe it but at the same time I don't 100% rule it out. Football is crazy business and almost anything can happen.

There was a story in one of the sunday red tops a few weeks ago IIRC that Citeh wanted him to replace Mancini but no suggestion that BR had discussed it with them.

I'm sure i'd read on here a few weeks back that Rodgers travelled to Italy to meet Mancini with a view to becoming his assistant at Citeh.

He did, apparently that's true. He turned down Mancini's offer to take the Swansea job. Apparently.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Brendan was savvy enough to refuse to be interviewed for LFC job when he was one among the many candidates. He knew that if he did not get the job it would make life uncomfortable for him at Swansea. I highly doubt he would have interviewed at Man City and then boasted about it given that the fans and the club would be less tolerant here than at Swansea.
