I just don't think anyone is being totally blinkered. I also think that the constant harping on about stats is a cheap shot with little or no real value as a critique of the team.

We've had mixed success. At the end of last season we were a shambles. We have improved our form in terms of both results and defensive record since then. Obviously we are nowhere near to where we want to be, but we were going in the wrong direction before and I do feel we have turned that round and are building a different type of team.

I just ignore all the impatient few who won't give Rodgers any breathing space to build his own team. Far easier that way

Hes made some massive cock ups imo but he deserves the opportunity to show the fans that his methods work. He cant do that until he brings in his own players especially in forward positions.

The ball is now firmly in fsgs court. Hes their man and now they need to back him in january.

I cant see how they wont. Otherwise what was the point of bringing someone else in with a new perspective on things with fresh ideas.

Letting andy carroll go without lining up a replacement.

Buying a very young striker in borini when there are more experienced forwards like ba available for a lot less than that and who could have a made a more immediate impact.

Saying out in public that he received messages apologising for the poor quality of the squad he received. Thats hardly going to inspire your players.

Playing call my bluff with the owners over the dempsey saga and losing.

                      That is not a lose

                      Conjecture

It was hardly a secret and I doubt it has been bad for the young players who have been given a chance.

We didn't miss out and we didn't over pay.

Given your own managerial experience it smacks of hypocrisy to me that your criticising Rodgers for choosing to go with a young untested striker.

Pot calling the kettle there like.

Andy carrolls better than not having a striker on the bench no matter what you think.

Youre disputing ba's widely acknowledged escape clause forjust 7m

Not the best way to get more out of underperforming players is it.

So rodgers was wrong to want dempsey in the first place
