Leaks to the media which make Rodgers look bad, articles questioning his ability.
The narrative has been set, it'll only get worse from here.
It does look as though Duncan Castles (the Sunday Times journo who wrote that piece) has been stitched up with the Tate thing. Quite strange. It is only going to get worse, definitely, especially with those nightmare away games. We simply have to win the next 3 to give us a bit of breathing space.

Depends where the leak came from but if it's from our direction then it's purpose is clear, the arse covering has begun.
That was a good article posted on gawk. Patience no longer exists throughout our everyday lives. It's a virtue. We have to presume Brenda can see what is going wrong. So let's hope he fixes it. It's going to be a nymphy ride.

you think castles has been briefed from within the club ?

I have absolutely no idea/insight but you'd have to think it's a possibility. Has to have come from either inside the club, or possibly an agent (who are often responsible for this sort of tittle tattle). More likely the former though.

If true it's worrying what direction Rodgers is taking us.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh will deputise for manager Brendan Rodgers in the technical area at Loftus Road today, after three members of the travelling party were struck down with illness.
The Reds boss has been sent home from London ahead of the Barclays Premier League game against QPR on doctor's orders after succumbing to a bug that has made it impossible for him to be in close proximity with the players.
Glen Driscoll, LFC's head of performance, and goalkeeper Brad Jones have also been sent home by the club's medical team.
Club doctor Zaf Iqbal said: "It was impossible for Brendan, Glen and Brad to attend the game. They are not fit to be at the match and any contact with the rest if the squad could cause the bug to spread to more of the playing staff."

Why do you say that? And who inside the club would benefit from such a tale?
Also, given what you know about established journalists at national papers, what do you think Castles might feel about having been 'stitched up' in this way? And, while they'd probably enjoy Castles' embarrassment, would other journalists get to know what's happened, who was involved, etc?
Genuine questions, not a trap.

What reason is there for Swansea, the player or an agent to release that information now, doesn't benefit them in anyway.
The only thing it serves to do is give the impression that Rodgers likes to sign **** players while selling good ones, and if someone in the club has an agenda, that might help in their cause.

I was only surmising, but someone (fed up) inside the club intent on causing trouble/damaging Rodgers?
