Not sure if the rumour has been posted or we're not supposed to do that kind of stuff but there is a lot of steam behind this one. Not what we need when we're flying in the league, should I post or not mods?

Right, I've just deleted everything that followed this. Despite people pointing out that it is just attention seeking bull**** on twitter, and despite mods repeatedly asking people to leave it alone that hasn't happened, so this is the last warning, seriously, I know people are generally just having a bit of fun but enough already.

As Liverpool fans we have no business spreading or propagating unsubstantiated and malicious personal rumours of that type which are both very unfair, and very potentially damaging, to staff or players of the club we support. We've all seen the damage this sort of thing has done in the past, and I am not having this site in any way contribute to anything like this in future. And lest anyone forget, this area of the site is indexed by google and visible to anyone, there could be significant legal repercussions for anyone responsible for spreading what is nothing more than libel, or the platform on which that occurs.

If anyone wants to further comment about this policy (not the rumour itself) they may do so in this thread, but anything else in here (and I include 'clever' puns and other veiled comments) and there will be consequences. Please people, I really really mean this. Thank you.

IF we maintain our good form and IF we get a top four finish, I think the owners will give Brendan proper money to spend on quality rather than depth. We also need a German in our team...
