I'm fine with people wanting Rodgers out, but that's not how fans of this club should act. It was deeply embarrassing but I'm going to stand up for the scum's fans and say it was probably embarrassing for the majority of them too.

You think the balance was there last season? Everyone and his dog was saying if we improve defensively we'd win the league. Well we did, but goals win leagues not defences. The chance creation stat is key. We created a lot of chances this year, almost as many as last year. And our defence was way better. The disastrous striking situation is the main issue. Saying Rodgers changed the system too much is a weak argument. When you are losing you can stick with what you are doing and hope it comes off eventually, or be proactive and change. Label it any way you want but if he doesn't change it he is slaughtered by you anyway. He changed it, it worked for a long time, and then the wheels came off. I'd rather a manager who changes than a stubborn one

Bottom line for me. Klopp is the only alternative, but his approach is a running game, and it's another project. We've been waiting 25 years for a title. Last year we were closer than in all those 25 years. We can afford to give the man one more try.

I think we ride our luck a whole bunch more than we should and our midfield is weak as piss when Lucas isn't firing and fit. Mediocre players look like midfield generals against us. And I've said this before but at least 2 of our 4 picks up front (Borini and Lambert) were his signings so if he wants to bemoan the lack of options without Sturridge then he needs to accept that he contributed to that situation.

We always seem to be 2 or 3 players away from were we need to be. It's perpetual. Looking at next season we'll be 4 or 5 away. At this point I don't give a **** if he stays or goes but if he's not going he should be kept well away from signing selection.

Agree 100%. But I dont think Brendan meant any disrespect to Rafa.

I'm not pro or anti Rodgers but I will say that I don't think we can keep giving Managers 5 years to be successful. I don't want us to be swapping and changing managers every year but we clearly aren't really getting anywhere by keeping managers for a long time without success either.

Yes Brendan had a great season last season but it was pretty meh the first year and this year. If he gets given another season he absolutely must achieve something significant and by that I mean top 4 with a title challenge and a trophy.

If FSG don't think he will be able to achieve that next season then it's better to change him this summer rather than next summer.

I'm not convinced he will be able to achieve it, he seems to need a lot of time with players to prepare them for games. He basically said so during the bad run at the beginning of the season. He wasn't able to adjust to two games a week and we will have two games a week next season.

Finally we definitely should take the Europa seriously next season. It's a European trophy and a route to Champions League. If Rodgers is given another season he needs to show that he's capable of competing in Europe.
