Surely will be sacked. He was lucky to survive imo earlier on in the season, when it looked like the layers didn't want to know... We had a bit of run, but the end of the season has just been ****ing dire, no fight, nothing. And it's not helped by some of the frankly bizarre team selections he's made
The only thing that might possibly save him is behind the scenes he has had nothing to do with signings and he is making a point and not picking people he didn't want because they're weren't up to it.
Laughing stock and **** it I've been on the fence about it till the last two performances....I think he's done. Sack nowi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

To be fair how many managers are going to do well with no recognised strikers over the course of a season? A team can't do without all its elements.Originally posted by brightred View PostPlease go Brendan. Was obviously Suarez and Sturridge that were responsible for last season.
Sorry Brendan, you were responsible for going all out attack against Chelsea in a match we didn't need to win.
****ing clueless
The retrospective diagnosis of the Chelsea match is a joke. We couldn't defend for toffee last season whenever we tried, all our threat came from attacking. If we'd sat back and lost everyone would have slaughtered the tactics, it's all cock. I don't blame him for going for it.
Having said that he blew the cash and no manager can survive without a decent defensive system. I think his ethos is too ethereal to work all the time and too complicated for most players to understand. Either way, his performances have been awful this season and if you can't trust a manager with cash they are done for - and everything points to him buying sub-par players at a premium.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

What is he going to say to the owners if they ask, why do you think you should stay on?
Finishing 2nd with one of the best players in the world who happened to have the best workrate of all the top players driving him on.. Then what?
Seriously though, aside from that what can he say? What positive signs are there?Vive la France

Well to be fair, whether we rate them or not.....we have ballotelli/lambert/borini/aspas/origi all on our books that are recognised strikers.Originally posted by Venton View PostTo be fair how many managers are going to do well with no recognised strikers over the course of a season? Someone is responsible for buying them, origi can be excused because he was back on loan but surely if we were desperate for a striker something could have been done. Plus there is young Sinclair coming through.
So he had striker options. And he's just not used them. If I was FSG that would be one of my first questions and his answer would determine if he is sacked or not. And prob the only answer that would save him if he can justifiably say he was against those signings.
Personally I think they are all ****e....however I do agree. A team needs a striker or two on the pitch and personally I feel he should as a manager of a top side been able to get something out of them
Imo, had we changed the system slightly and then say gone ten games on the bounce with ballotelli and borini up top and coutinho behind them....then I reckon we might have got something going
To not start any strikers in so many games this season is inexcusable unless they were all totally injured.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

If the key elements of the performance didn't surprise him why did he let them happen why let them unfold? This I s not an experiment?
