Its just insanity to me when we have the likes of Klopp and Ancelotti both potentially available for next season with NO compensation required and we're just blindly ploughing on. Spunking £30m+ on a Benteke with a squad full of players who couldn't cross a road never mind a ball? That's our solution to such a disappointing season? ****, we might as well have Hodgson back in charge.

Surely sacking BR is the best way of at least getting some value out of last summer's transfer debacle? Klopp might be able to salvage the futures of Markovic/Lallana/Lovren and co who have all had pretty dreadful seasons under Rodgers. The sheer lack of defined roles for virtually the entire squad is breathtaking. There isn't a player really who had a solid season in a single role. That CANNOT happen again next season and the easiest way is to get a manager in who knows exactly how he wants to play, won't keep changing the shape ever week and tells the players exactly what he demands of them. It's not rocket science really - its just having a manager in that the top players respect 100%.

I completely agree. I can see us sitting here in 12 months time in the same position wishing we'd have gone for Klopp.

If FSG are going to give Rodgers a few more months to see how he does I don't think he'll be backed in the transfer market. He might be allowed to have a couple of freebies and a few million to spend but I can't imagine him being allowed to have a large amount to inevitably spunk. If that's the case we're going to be in the same position. If they do give him a few more months it sets us back at least another season because whoever takes over has missed on a full summer of transfer dealings, settling and implementing his methods.

If FSG are happy with Rodgers and are keeping him long term I think we can consider them having no ambition and we'll be a stepping stone club for young talent to develop and move on when they start to be considered good.

That is the party line Will. It's been delivered emphatically as well.
As far as the club and its owners are concerned, Rodgers remains as manager. The only grey area concerns his forthcoming annual review. That will establish the parameters that he will be asked to work within.

Seems like he's on extremely good terms with this Mike Gordon (who seems the main decision maker), and is well thought of with FSG as a whole.

Is he a bit of a yes man? I suspect he is. Someone that makes life easy for them.
