If that is the model, it's very unlikely that any potential that starts to reach its suggested standard will stick around alongside all the other budding wannabes.
It was truly, truly awful. Enough to be sacked there and then.
I'm ok if he stays because I know how he can very effectively manage a team with goalscorers. I'm also ok if he goes because he can make those diabolical decisions.
Would Klopp be any better? Great when he had great players, not so great when he didn't. Sounds like the German Brendan.
Yes he would. I see a lot of comparisons brought up about this season but its totally different he's had his squad decimated every year and suffered very badly with injuries this season.
I'd say its almost polar opposite in terms of Klopp has been winning and challenging for titles every year bar 1 whereas Rodgers has been mid table every year bar 1.
It ain't over until the fat lady releases an official statement saying hes staying.
I will review my position at this point.
Aye
I was hoping the manager situation would be sorted out before I go back to work next week but it looks like this will drag on, unless we get an exclusive tonight that Rodgers is due to fly out to Boston for talks with Mr Gordon.
Milan are not the only ones interested in employing Carlo Ancelotti, whose prestige remains largely intact.
The calls keep coming in, Liverpool being the latest to try their luck. Before that, West Ham dropped the Italian a line, after having first sounded out Rafa BenÃtez.
For now, Ancelotti is convinced that what is best for him is to take a break from managing for a year. Liverpool may be the only club capable of changing his mind.

Carlo Ancelotti's spinal problems are not the sort of thing that should be put off again. It sounds quite serious in terms of his long term health - Cervical Stenosis is a degenerative condition which pinches at the nervous system as it goes down the back
The symptoms of cervical spinal cord compression can include a combination of numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain in the arms, hands, and legs.
Symptoms can also include a loss of bladder or bowel control, or problems with balance or coordination, such as a shuffling gait or tripping easily when walking.
Cervical spinal stenosis with myleopathy can be permanently disabling if it is allowed to progress too far. It can be treated with a cervical decompression surgery.
