If Rodgers brought Xabi back it would prove how stupid he was to spunk 15 million on JFA!

I somehow get a feeling Xabi coming back isn't as wild an idea as some suspect.
He makes comments about us, doesn't sign a new contract for RM, a few rumours start. Feels like a gradual campaign.
Also we know he has man love for Stevie and its not a massive stretch to see him wanting to spend a couple of seasons playing with him before he retires.
He's got nothing left to prove and doesn't need the cash.
But then I have massive man love for Xabi so it could all be bollocks and I'm just reading too much into it due to wishful thinking.
Would jizz to see his perfectly weighted long passes to space for Stevie to run onto again.

I wasn't singling you out, I said I think we're ALL getting ahead of ourselves. Cheers.Originally posted by Marina View PostI literally said I didn't think he would be coming back! I suppose it's possible for written words to fall on deaf ears.

I think this is all down to Stevie. They clearly have enormous mutual admiration and the chance to give Stevie the send off to his career with a PL winners medal is the challenge that I personally think Xabi would relish at this stage of his own career."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." One problem. He is ****. Xabi is world class.Originally posted by kev776 View PostCisse still makes nice comments about us and is probably still the Czar of Frodsham, maybe he will come back to replace Suarez.

Nor do IOriginally posted by EwarWoo View PostBit of a ridiculous analogy really. I'm sure he'd love to but what nut job would swap Suarez with him.
I don't really see any parallel?
but he has cracking hair and will liven the place up. No need for him to actually play.

Except for me. I'm getting behind myself.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Yes I can. Hand on heart. IIRC he even said so himself when LVCtv went to Madrid and interviewed him a while back.Originally posted by kev776 View PostAgreed totally but hand on heart can you really see Xabi coming back? saying he likes it here means nothing.
I think it is more down to us to put in place the right deal to bring him in. Would be a huge statement of intent and many other class players would see us as a club going places, add to that the boost it will give the likes of Suarez."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball."
