He should not be a starter in the midfield, but like Lampard, he should have been used sparingly in an attacking midfield role. He could have easily played that role for 2 years atleast.

We will not realize what we are missing until he is gone.

I can see us organising a friendly with whoever he goes to, now that will be strange.

He'll absolutely tear the MLS to shreads.

We're being nice, and reminiscing, leave it out!

He's had a ****ty season, but doesn't change the fact he's been one of our greatest players of all time, and with the exception of Suarez last season the best player on the team at pretty much every point in his entire senior career.

Good luck in anything he does next.

Any chance he'll go in Jan? Maybe with the right offer?

Agreed, but we should not be settling for anything less than the best and SG us past his best no matter what the sentiment...... Will always love him but FFS go on a high!!!!!

Can't really remember LFC pre-Gerrard. I'm struggling to imagine it without him. My favourite player.

                                The way he's been managed?
You need to stop letting your heart rule your head..

At what point would you have liked the LFC/Gerrard situation to have ended..?
He obviously wants to carry on playing and at 34, paying him over £150K just isn't good business..

Probably the best player to ever wear the shirt but as everyone knows,
                                No-One is bigger than LFC..

                                Time to move on..
