Carragher has pretty much intimated the club's offer be it financial, contract length or even role (lack of coaching offer) was probably a factor

He was spot on about Stevie leaving so I don't doubt his news on the contract. I hope to God he's wrong as it would be a **** way to treat Stevie after all his service.
