Very interesting indeed, he needs to get tough times and crisis at Rangers as part of his manager training Bit sad for him though that he won't get the chance this season in the CL.

The flip side to that is that with a kind draw they could get a long ish run in the Europa rather than just being fodder in the CL. I'm sure the club would have preferred to have been group stage fodder in the CL from a financial pov, but a longish run in he Europa would give manager and players more experience that would help them come next season's CL play offs.

Can see why he would want to take it, But he is proably better staying in Scotland for a couple of seasons and getting his medal haul up before he comes down to battle for a Europa spot with whichever club he chooses in the Premier league.

I feel like he'd be on a hiding to nothing with Villa, IMO better spending a few more years at Rangers, sure he wants to prove himself in the PL but I'd wait a couple of years.
