    Twice the effort mate

Honestly don't see the big difference in having one thread about each player or having 5-10 threads started about him, each to their liking I guess

He's brilliant isn't he. Like proper brilliant.
      *Except Michael, who died.

Seems ridiculous but I almost took him for granted, and then while he's barely played for 18 months, you kinda forget how good he was/is.

What a ****ing player. Practically a year out, waltzes straight back with 4 in 4.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

FWIW I would have gone with "Stevie G is ruddy bloody good again isn't he?"

                    Incredible player. Just incredible.

We'd comfortably be in the top four if he'd have been fit all season.

Those that knock Gerrard should listen to his exchange with Mancini after last night's game. The captain standing up for his team members.

I think this is what he has probably realised being out for so long.We all take things for granted and I truly believe he is 100% focused on making up for lost time.He has had far too much time to think, probably evaluating his life and the reality that he may only have 3 maybe 4 years of top flight football in him has probably sunk in.

One thing I've noticed though is he is not in the slightest bit interested in tackling

Its often been a criticism of him that he vacates the midfield too much but generally when he was behind the ball he would tackle for 50/50's etc..

Last night a number of times he bottled out of tackles that he was the absolute favouriite to get, maybe its nervousness in regards to his injury and it will be something with time that will come back but its been noticeable to me that tackles that he is even clear favourite for he will not entertain

                              Hes still brilliant mind
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Yep I noticed that. Not sure he "bottled" them but he definitely opted out of a couple of potential blockbuster tackles last night.
