Perhaps in the 2nd half which is even more disappointing makes you question why he did not put a shift in, the first half.

****s going to take time ... lovely football .. no penetration

Just shows how bad our creativity is.

Does that count the Arsenal goal.

His unpredictability is part of his strength, but he needs to be more aware of others - as well as improve his passing. The amount of times, especially in the first half, that he lost possession was shocking, and not only when he was on his own.
Every time he got the ball, he'd still have a lot to do. We created very little clear cut chances, if any.

Play him up top - on the right or as a false nine.

Shelvey is a better option in midfield at the moment.

Shelvey is very early Gerrard like.

He even does the 'hardcase' walk when he makes a decent tackle.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Shame he has nowhere near the athleticism a young Gerrard had.

I think he gets a lot of unfair stick for that, he's a lot more athletic this season than what I've seen him, not a whippet my any means but he's quick enough for his position.

Still, nowhere near a young Gerrard. It's not knocking Shelvey, he did get gain more pace and quickness over the past year.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying full ability wise.

But that swagger and confidence, for me that's the main thing Henderson lacks.

He's just a reckless as Gerrard was at his age.

Don't think it was a lack of effort mate. Think he can't physically track back as much anymore. I know what you mean though, think it was a particular move which broke down, think it was second half and he couldn't be arsed to run and do the tracking back.

He needs his game changing to adapt to this system. Rodgers has revolutioned things too quickly IMO.
