Gerrard and Xavi isn't exactly a like for like comparison is it? Bit of an odd one that. Gerrard's played as centre mid, attacking mid, right mid..Xavi plays in exactly the same position each game and plays an entirely different role to Gerrard

Plus Xavi used to sit a lot deeper. I'm not saying Xavi is better, just think it's a pretty pointless comparison. Fabregas for example would also have much better stats than Xavi, so does that make him better?
