Interview was fairly insipid as expected, as, lets face it, Stevie isn't the most engaging of personalities to banter with in the glare of the media.....especially with the mong that is Ryan Tubridy. Came over to promote his autism foundation.
Some nice little quib from him on Sami having a one-on-one with him after he was given the captaincy, how he doesn't regret for one moment not signing for Chelsea (and other clubs in Europe he went on to say), how he felt when he walked out for his debut and Anfield, some baiting about possibly meeting Ireland in the Euros etc etc
Went onto say we shouldn't be where we are in the league, should be putting the ball away better, doesn't feel the Suarez-thing impacted the season, he believes we're gonna win the FA Cup (very sincere about that), etc etc etc
Typical footballer interview really..............great reception from an audience full of Liverpool fans, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
