Every team in the league would be in for Stevie if the thought they could get him to sign. May not be the force he once was but he's still head and shoulders above most players in football.Originally posted by CAD View PostOhh, come on FFS mate. I corrected that. Why not comment on some of the more interesting stuff?

Stevie ran out of puff last night. Multitude of factors:
Crap tactics
Partnering Parker
Close proximity of games
He's not as athletic as he used to be
Personally I think he's on the wain and it'll be interesting to see how Rodgers uses him next season. As part of a central three he can still be a major influence but if he's asked to play in a central two I don't think he'll play as we used to see him.
It boils down to whether he can modify his game and whether his body is up to performing for a full season.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

It is difficult to influence a game when you see the ball once every 10 minutes.
Most english players were gasping for breath by the end. He spent so much of the time backtracking and chasing shadows with no respite. The fact that Pirlo was able to play so much with hardly breaking a sweat is due to the poor tactics adopted.
He was the best England performer at Euro at tender age of 31 surrounded by all that England talent and youth and he did that by not playing in his natural position.
Many times he wanted to go forward but then realized that is not what Roy wanted from him and he'd stop.
I think he had an incredible tournament and maybe I am minority but I am very encouraged by what I have seen from him at Euro.
He as far as I remember never looked fitter than now and if stays injury free I for one cannot wait for next season to see him in Rodgers system.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Is that to assist your argument, or make it redundant?

I think I've worked it out; that web-link is to back-up what RedReet has said, proving him right, but your logic says it's wrong?Originally posted by CAD View Posthttp://www.eplindex.com/15792/englan...pta-stats.html
