At this moment there is no way that I would take him back.

However if he takes a break from football and maybe has some discussions with the owners about a proper plan then maybe in the summer he could be considered.

But right now he needs a ****ing holiday, a therapist, a doctor, a dietician and personal trainer

I think some of the players would be well pissed off to see him back also (Carra and Gerrard?)

Also he wanted ultimate power when at the club, now theres Comolli - couldn't see that ever working.
          We come not to play.

Well if he does come back and Carra and Gerrard are not happy then they can hit the ****ing road.

Rafa love the game to much to take a holiday but I agree with you that he needs a break but he would climb the walls after 10 days or so without a job.

I wonder if he will turn up at Anfield when we play our next home game?

Blackpool away is where they can make it happen. I am sure many many many renditions of Rafa would let the owners know how the fans feel.

Won;t happen though as to many divided opinions.
Rafa's track record with the boardroom's at clubs is horrendous: Valencia, Liverpool and Inter. I somehow doubt Rafa could ever work within the plan of the new owners. It's inevitable he will fall out with Commoli as he would want full control of transfers but the owners want all transfers to go through with the agreement of Comolli. Rafa clearly wants an open chequebook which the owners definitely will not be giving. His time with us is done and we need to move on

Yes he wanted power but he got rid of some of it as soon as he got it. What he was after IMO was that he wanted the club to be run in a good way, not that he wanted more power than any of his main rivals.

If he got that power then he and not our current **** owners would build up the club.

I didn't realise they were stripped of 2 titles

More realistically, he wants £20-30m a season net, which really should be fine for a club our size.
                      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Totally laughable. What Rafa always wanted, as he himself said it, is that he want the chance to build up the club in a healthy way not spending fantasy money or risk the club doing it.

More the Arsenal way than the City or Chelsea way.

That is realistic I suppose if that is the figure he is talking about. But to get us back to the top four, 20-30m would only get 2 players at most. Spending £5-6m on players will take us back to signing players such as Mark Gonzalez, Jermaine Pennant, Morientes.

The one they won in 2004-05 wasn't re-awarded, the one they 'won' the year after was re-awarded to Inter and thus began Inter's dominance.
                            We come not to play.

it really does puzzle me that people are still begging for rafa to come "home". i and hopefully others realise that while he did a good job for us he will never be the manager to bring us number 19 IMO. he was and is a great man but not again IMO a great manager.
