FFS Shaggy, stop raking over new ground..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Yes, clearly our crook owners that were running out of money and stealing every penny we had would tell Rafa that he had to spend £19m on a **** striker we didn't need.Originally posted by Arn View PostDo you really believe that he had the power to do that? You know our owners told him to shut the **** up when he tried to interfere.
Had he not wanted the player they would have jumped at the chance to spend even less.

Something strikes me about Rafa. And that is his similarity to those guys from the boot room years. Shankly, Paisley, Moran and the like. After they left the club, they never really left. They were part of the place still. In the other examples, I guess they retired but still held on to what was dear to them. Rafa hasn't retired, but is holding on in a smililar manner. It's in his blood. Does that make sense?Oh I don't know.

I don't really think it's healthy for Rafa. He's too young not to move on properly. If he's not careful he could end up like David Brent, turning up to his old place of work because ' he was in the neighbourhood'.
I am genuinely puzzled why he's decided to make merseyside his permanent home given the options his wealth gives him. Does he think he'll never be as/more successful again somewhere else? Waiting for the Spain job?Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years
