Not a huge fan of Rafa myself but he deserves enormous credit for his job at Chelsea. He's gone in, done what Ancelotti and AVB couldn't. Sidelined Terry and Lampard. He looked like he would get binned within about 6 weeks, but he's probably going to get them Top 4 and is in the Europa Final. He's done well there for sure

That's more credit than you ever game him for his time here

Would be fun if he benched both Lampard and Terry against Benfica.

That would be a statement of who is the boss.

i criticise him - so it must be that i don't like him.
i don't see that everything works against him - so it must be that i refuse to give him any credit.

                  good logic shaggy, well done!

Point is you don't need me to "poison the well" for you - you've made it quite clear yourself on numerous occasions.

You don't think he's very good - that's up to you, and you've made it clear you don't understand him. He baffles you. But to go back to the original point, attempting to make out the interim tag has made his job "a hell of a lot easier" is just desperate.

It's baffling how a liverpool supporter can not be a fan of a man who won us our Big Ears to keep.

Not saying that the guy is faultless - because he does have faults, obviously - but some of the stuff written about him at times is rather disrespectful from so-called LFC fans.

If they kept Rafa i'm fairly sure they'd win the league next season and would be a good bet for a place in the Champions league semi / final.

I hope to christ he doesn't stay.

Exactly, he had his faults but i'll always be a fan because of what he gave us on that night in May.

Agreed. I think, in hindsight, he did a great job keeping us going considering the pressure he was under with G&H. Pity we didn't win the PL under him - came damned close, and we could have had another European Cup too (why he didn't start with Crouch I'll never know).

His stint at Chelsea has proved he is a great manager. If BR doesn't perform next season I'd like Rafa back.

if just leave the bit in bold out then it does fit your point. convinient, isn't it?
