Thanjk you.
Paul.S
6 months will put him to the start of November. With no training allowed, youd think we wouldn't feature until December.
Idiot.
Is he not allowed to train?
Even at that shouldn't take him a month to get playing again? How long was Suarez banned for? He wasn't even allowed to be seen on grass, never mind train and he played first available game against Masdrid IIRC.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I suspect there are already built in contractual protections regarding paying players during doping bans
So that side of things is not a worry to the club
if its 6 months then they probably will continue to pay him to keep him sweet and how their support for him. but if its a year or more then i can imagine they might reduce his salary to cover his living expenses.
Can't imagine sakho on two grand a week lol.

Its probably one of the few reasons they could cancel a contract with impunity
City fined Toure £740,000 for his breach which is approx £31K per week over 6 months
I think Sakhos' fine will be much larger than that

Mamadou Sakho has decided not to challenge his failed drugs test, which could result in a four year ban. [Times]

Can't see four years, unless this is more serious than we think and no mitigating factors. I reckon it will be 12-24 months, based on absolutely nothing besides my bloated gut.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
Yeah I'm not buying that he's some sort of juiced up doper, up to his eyes in steroids or whatever. Just trying to lose weight. He's been stupid and I cannot believe he didn't check with the club, but I'm not having this "cheat" tag.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I think its banned from all footballing activities. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember when Rio Ferdinand was banned for those 9 months he wasnt allowed to train.
