I can't blame Can for looking elsewhere. He's shown his best for us and it was appreciated. But I'll be disappointed if the list is not adhered to. And he probably realises he's not talented enough to disrupt that list.

Against the bus parking bottom 12 clubs I'd want to see Lallana or Coutinho as the player next to Hendo and Wijnaldum. It's all about opinions and that's mine.

Perhaps he's wanting to see how his role in the side pans out, reports suggested it was more about game time than money for him. In a couple of months time, if he hasn't had his head turned by Juve and all is well, we might persuade him to sign, he's easily a £50m player so it's a huge asset to lose on a free.

when fit i'd sooner have lallana over widge.
when we have keita he must play, maybe along side can with lallana in front.
i think id prefer ox over widge too. not sure where henderson fits in.
i dont want to see henderson get played just because hes the captain.

he did have a few decent games recently but he also has his ghost games too.

Its going to be a nightmare picking a midfield when they are all available. Even those like Wijnaldum that I'm not fussed on are playing really well.

Managers love such problems, depth and genuine competition for places have been major issues for us. We need as many good players as possible and let them push each other to start.
