Really liked what little I've seen of this lad & I can't wait for his return.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

He's got more pace than you've got brain cells
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Nice cameo today, looks like he will be a regular and clearly improving with game time. Silver lining.

He didn't shy away and tried to make things happen.

I remember reading big things about him when he was in Bayern's youth team. He's going to be good as long as we're patient.

He has a great chance of building up his fitness and adapting to the pace of the Premier League.

Hmm don't know if it came across on tele but I thought he was wank....bar his one strong run, after that he stopped....seriously, it looked like he was ****ed...as I say it might not have come across on tv, but he just seemed to stroll....so much so someone near me commented that it looked like he'd had a stroke

I thought he looked good when he came on, I'd start with him every day of the week over the piss weak and utterly pointless Joe Allen, how the **** he stayed on for the full 90 minutes today was baffling

So are we now all moving from the "Joe Allen will be our saviour" camp to "Can will be our saviour"

In all seriousness I think there is something I like about Can and just like you I do not see the attraction in Allen

I still think he has potential too. If he's fully fit (he seems to be constantly injured) I think he could prove a real asset as the season progresses.

Really impressed with this guy last night, he looks like he has the tools to become a real beast of a midfielder, still has a way to go in his development but he could be a real asset for us if he continues developing.

Look knackered at times but classy enough for sure.

Like to see him get a good run in the team. Looks like he lacks fitness, or is that just the way he is ?

No idea but a bit like Markovic he's had limited time this season so hopefully a good run in the side would help with the match fitness side of things.
