Thanjk you.

I get the feeling with Can that what he is missing is a sustained run of games. None of the issues with his play were evident in the past couple of seasons when he had been playing regularly. I find it noticeable when a player is chopped in and out of a team that that initial instinctive move to play a quick pass or carry the ball another 10 yards comes when the player is back in the groove. There are exceptions to this where players like Coutinho can just slip back in like they'd never been away but taking some time to find that rhythm again is normal, doubly so at 23 years of age. I think Can will come good and go on to be a fans favourite for years to come.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.
I really like him and think he could be a great player but my god has he been off this season. I'm not sure if it's him or the tactics but he just doesn't seem to fit at the moment -
I'd defo want him to stay and see what we can do with him but I don't think he has much of a case to be throwing wage demands around (admittedly we don't actually know the details of this)
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
That ****ing header yesterday that went out for a corner. WTF
If he didn't wear so much Soul-Glo on his greasy ****ing head he'd probably be able to head the ball properly.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
I was disgusted by the attitude of some of the "fans" in Anfield last night re Can. There were a few sat behind me being borderline racist - actually scrub that, actually racist whenever he was on the ball. It seems he's become the whipping boy for the form we're in just now. Couldn't believe what I was hearing, I didn't think I'd hear that kind of language about anyone at Anfield, let alone one of our own.
His problem is lack of technical ability to play in this position in a team like ours which favours passing the ball at speed. Look at the way he manipulates the ball. His touch isn't good enough sadly.
At the moment we dont pass the ball at speed so it doesnt really matter
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
I thought Can was one of the better players last night.
but I do find him guilty as well as many other players of taking extra unnecessary touches and eventually do something that could've been done first time. We're wasting our own time and it does give a sense of plodding along.
I think it relates to what Lecter is saying about moving the ball quickly.
Pass choice is also poor (again this relates to the entire side) and players seem to be taking the easy option. This is what happens in a slump and lack of confidence.
Lack of pace throughout the team is a problem for me
If you dont have pace you have to move the ball quickly
If you have pace then you can let the players get into dangerous areas with their pace
Ideally you want both
We dont have either at the moment imo
Movement (or lack of) was a huge issue last night, a few times when we had even a mini break you could see the front three were not at it at all.
Lallana was the only guy making runs round the outside and offering himself the rest were very static. We also have Henderson and Coutinho coming back after injuries so our creativity was stifled. Firmino out wide is pointless and Sturridge was clearly frustrated leaving us looking lightweight. Origi could be the answer, but he is out of form.
Mane is absolutely vital to us, he couldn't be away at a worse time.

Didn't Mane play the first leg? In fact he hasn't been that great recently.
I think my point is that we seem to inherently either play well as a team or play badly. It seems to be more about the general mood and confidence as a whole rather than any individuals.

We dont have anyone who can drag a performance round on their own (like Gerrard use to)
I personally we need more than just Mane's pace, you need 2 or 3 player capable of such bursts of speed

is it me or has he lost a yard of pace? Last season he could have driven past people with a turn of pace but that seems to have completely gone and he looks ponderous now
