As for the risk factor with regards to where contact could have been made, rather than where it actually was made.....well surely throwing a hand anywhere towards the face should be red card worthy then if we are basing it on what might have happened.

This is all a bit pointless, but no, Demichelis looked to the side and not at Suarez, whereas markovic couldn't have lined it up any more.
