I personally thought Origi should have been loaned out again but sure he's here now. I was impressed with him today but I hope we don't have to rely on him.

Dreadful? He worked hard and brought others into the game.

Bare in mind this was his first start, he's barely played in this league and he was playing up front on his own. He was unlucky not to score, brought others into the game and created a couple of chances, I thought that was a decent performance.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

So he's a player Klopp tried to sign then, and he said 'we'll have some fun with this player', so he sees plenty of potential in the lad, no doubt about that.

Like a lot of the team looked to be working so hard that he let his quality/decision making suffer a bit. He was much better than I thought he would be; in some Belgium games I've seen he has been pretty static, against Spurs he looked mobile and to have fairly intelligent movement.

He's good at laying the ball off for those around him.

If he could just be a bit more decisive/quick on the turn, think he could be an awesome forward.

His confidence probably took a knock after the little game time so far/ worst team of the season ****e from ligue 1.

There was a good chance to score where he shot low left, with one defender and the keeper in front of him. Perhaps if he has more conviction he cuts inside quickly and shoots and its in.

That's the biggest thing a more experienced striker like Benteke or Sturridge have over him at the moment.

I know he didn't score, was close though but he actually hardly put a foot wrong in the whole game. Anytime I've watched him over the last few years and I didn't really think much of him to be honest but that was the best i've seen him play. A few weren't impressed but he got little or nothing service. He held the ball up very well and brought others into the game & ran the channels well. Sure he had to drop deep in second the second half to try get into the game.... service was that sparse. I think maybe he cold have done with another loan move, this time to a prem team but sure he's here and we'll see what happens.
